Rock Star party theme inspiration...
Una lectora me contactó para pedirme ayuda con una fiesta rockera para su hija que cumple 10 años. La invitación será en forma de boleto de Ticketmaster y elijió colores negro con fiusha. Le envié este mosaico y las siguientes notas:
A reader contacted me recently wanting help for a 10 year old girl's rock star theme party. Her invitations are going to be printed like concert tickets. She chose black and fiusha for the party colors. I sent her the above inspiration board and the following notes:
Theme: Rock Star
Colores : Negro y Rosa
Colors: Black and Pink
Mesa de postres: Dulces negros o de color obscuro {como pasas cubiertas de chocolate, tootsie rolls, etc.} y dulces rosas {chicles, chocolates rosas, gomitas}. Cupcakes decorados con betún rosa con negro, cupcakes de micrófono {receta en la siguiente entrada}, pastel en forma de guitarra.
Dessert table: Black or dark colored candy {chocolate covered raisins, tootsie rolls, etc.} and pink candy {bubble gum, pink chocolates, gummies}. Cupcakes with pink and black frosting, microphone cupcakes {recipe in the next post}, guitar shaped cake.

Mesas: Mantel negro con cubre mantel rosa. Puedes espolvorear brillantina o confetti plateado o negro.
Tables: Black tablecloth with pink table runner. Sprinkle glitter or black confetti on the table.

Centro de mesa: Conos de unicel cubiertos con brillantina plateada, bolas de disco, boa de plumas.
Centerpiece: Styrofoam cone covered in glitter, disco balls, feather boa.
Decoración: Al llegar las invitadas, los adultos las recibirán con camisetas que digan "SEGURIDAD" y les entregarán un "Backstage Pass". Pasarán a una estación donde habrá tatuajes temporales, anillos de diamante de juguete, pintura para pelo temporal en forma de aerosol, lentes rockeros, boas de plumas, etc. La siguiente estación es un escenario decorado con una bola de disco, micrófonos {como estos} y un Karaoke para que armen su concierto. Incluso puedes hacer un concurso y dar premios a la mejor disfrazada, mejor cantante, etc.
Decoration: Adults will wear t-shirts that say "SECURITY" throughout the party and will give each guest a "Backstage Pass" as they arrive. Guests will then enter a prep station where they can use temporary tattoos, fake diamond rings, temporary hair color spray, rocker sunglasses, feather boas, etc. The next station will be the stage decorated with a disco ball and microphones {like these} and a Karaoke so they can start the concert. You could even give awards to the best costume or best singer, etc.
Comida: Sirve comida tipo Rock-Star Americana... mini hamburguesas, mini pizzas, papitas fritas servidas en conos botaneros, ensalda, etc.
Food: American Rock-Star food such as mini hamburgers, mini pizzas, french fries served in treat cones, salad, etc.
Agradecimientos: Como regalo las invitadas se pueden llevar una pieza de joyería de fantasía con tema rockero, {como el dije de corazón negro que se ve en el mosaico}, además de su bolsa del buffet de dulces.
Favors: Guests can take home a piece of rocker jewelry {like the black heart pendant in the inspiration board}, and their dessert table goodie bag.
