¡Estas invitaciones me mataron! Las imprimieron como boletos de entrada de circo, y las pusieron adentro de un sobre con una foto Polaroid del cumplañero y un globo rojo, que al inflarlo tenía una clave secreta para revelarla el día de la fiesta... ¡Qué ORIGINAL!

I almost died when I saw these invitations! They printed them so that they would look like circus tickets and put them inside an envelope with a polaroid of the birthday boy and a red balloon that had a secret code written on it to redeem on the day of the party... Truly ORIGINAL!

Les presento a mi más reciente descubrimiento... BURBUJAS DE COLORES... Imagínense lo divertido que sería usarlas... Se llaman Zubbles y fueron creadas por un científico que tardó 10 años en perfeccionar la fórmula, la cuál es no tóxica y no mancha la ropa... ¡Yo quiero unas!

I wanted to share my latest discovery... COLORED BUBBLES... Can you imagine how much fun these would be? They're called Zubbles and were created by a scientist that took 10 years to get the formula just right. They are non-toxic and wont stain... I want them now!

Enamorada de este tema... Inspirados en la película Breakfast at Tiffany's, la revista Utterly Engaged lo sugirió en su publicación No. 4 como tema de boda, pero creo que me gusta más como despedida de soltera, boda civil, o como tema de cumpleaños... en fin, como lo quieran utilizar, las ideas estan DIVINAS...
I am completely in love with this theme... Inspired by Breakfast at Tiffany's Utterly Engaged suggested this as a wedding theme in their Issue No. 4, but I think I like it more as a bridal shower, civil ceremony or as a birthday theme... however you want to use it, these ideas are absolutely DIVINE...

Mesa con fondo de flores encajadas en tablas de poliestireno forradas con tela, sillas blancas con detalle de borla negra y flor rosa... preciosas...

Table with a flower board backdrop... the flowers are pinned on a styrofoam board that has been wrapped in fabric, white chairs with black tassel and a pink rose... beautiful....

Mesa con mantel rosa y pirámide de copas de champaña... clásico...

Pink tablecloth on a round table and a champane pyramid...classic...

Floreros decorados con listón y detalle de joyería... genial...

Vases with ribbon wrapped around them decorated with jewlery...genius...

Mesa de postres IMPRESIONANTE... Mantel negro con blanco, postres sobre bases de cristal o sobre cajas de regalos envueltas con listón negro y florero decorado con collar de perlas...lindo...

IMPRESSIVE table... Black and white tablecloth, desserts are served in crystal cake plates or placed on top of wrapped gift boxes with black ribbon, and a vase decorated with a pearl necklase...cute...

...y para terminar la noche... cada invitado se va a casa con un postre envuelto con listón del típico color azúl de Tiffany's y café en vasos deshechables con funda de collar o corbata de moño... 
...and to end the night... each guest goes home with dessert wrapped in typical Tiffany blue ribbon and coffee with necklace or bow tie decorated sleeves...

Las fundas la puedes hacer tu misma... imprime la imágen o texto que quieras sobre papel opalina y la próxima vez que vayas a un café guarda la funda, úsala como patrón. Abrela y ponla sobre la imágen que imprimiste para trazarla. Recorta tu diseño y une la funda con goma de pistola.
You can make the coffee sleeves yourself... print the image or text you want to use on card stock and the next time you go to a coffee shop save the sleeve, use it as your stencil. Open it to lay flat and place it over your print out to trace. Cut out your design and secure with a hot glue gun.

Oscars para comer...

Nunca me pierdo los Oscars... y esta vez no será la excepción... Galletas en forma de la muy codiciada estatua dorada... obvio tanta lindura tenía que venir de BAKERELLA...

I never miss the Oscars... and this time will not be the excpetion... Golden statue shaped cookies... obviously this much cuteness had to come from BAKERELLA...

La Cocina de la Sra. Mora...

Muy divertida el fin de semana pasado en la Cocina de la Sra. Mora... "Mrs. Mora's Kitchen" fue el tema que elegimos para la despedida de soltera de nuestra amiga Vivian... Entre todas le dimos una clase de cocina y estos son los detalles de la decoración... Se eligió un gallo como personaje principal y decoración de campo...

I had so much fun last weekend at Mrs. Mora's Kitchen... this was the theme that we chose for our friend Vivian's bridal shower... It was a cooking class and I wanted to share pictures of the decoration... We chose a rooster as the "main character" and the rest was sort of a "kitchen on the farm" theme...

Vasos de frascos de conservas con un moño de mecate y popotes decorados con etiquetas temáticas... inspirada por este blog...

We drank out of mason jars that were embellished with natural tiwne and straw tags with the same theme... inspired by this blog...

1. Ramo de flores hecho con bolsas de papel del supermercado Trader Joe's, inspirada en este blog... Flower bouquet made out of Trader Joe's paper bags, inspired by this blog....

2. Canasta con paliacate llena de verduras frescas y latas de El Pato... Basket filled with fresh vegetables and El Pato cans, decorated with a blue bandana...

3. Centro de Mesa de flores de campo, amarradas con mecate; los "floreros" son latas de la avena integral Mccann's... The flowers for the centerpieces were tied together with natural twine and the "vases" were Mccann's Oatmeal cans...

4. Caja de cerillos forrada con etiqueta temática... inspirada en este blog... Match box wrapped in paper with the same theme... inspired by this blog...

Foto borrosa, pero es el mandil para la festejada... Mandil de mezclilla con su futuro nombre...

The pictures is blurry, but this is the apron we made for our guest of honor... It's made out of denim and decorated with her future name...

Escribimos el menú en un pizarrón {improvisado de un lienzo pintado con pintura para pizarrón}... y la receta impresa en hojas con el mismo gallo del mandil... Como mantel usamos papel estraza...

We wrote the menu down on a chalkboard {improvised from a piece of canvas painted with chalkboard paint}... the recipe was printed out on paper with the same rooster theme... We used craft paper for our tablecloth...

La pasamos INCREIBLE, la comida DELICIOSA y conversaciones INOLVIDABLES... Felicidades Vivi ♥

Vintage...

Dos fiestas con decoración vintage, muy distintas entre ellas, pero igual de HERMOSAS... La primera, una boda con colores pasteles, encajes blancos, recipientes de cristal y de cerámica, ramitos de lavanda y platos floreados...

Two very different vintage styled parties, both BEAUTIFUL... The first one is a wedding shoot that used pastel colors, white lace, ceramic and crystal containers, lavender sprigs and plates with a flower pattern...

La segunda...  Colores obscuros, recipientes de metal y cristal obscuro,  flores blancas, candelabros, charolas de plata y muebles obscuros...

The second one... Dark colors, metal and dark cryistal containers, white flowers, candelabra, silver trays and dark colored  furniture...
