Evento aniversario Grupo Tradiciones...

Y qué feliz me hace compartir pequeños detalles del evento de aniversario de la persona que se encargó de hasta el más mínimo detalle el día de mi boda (hace casi 11 años). El año pasado asistí al evento de aniversario de Grupo Tradiciones del Arquitecto Carlos Herrera. Celebró 18 años (ahora 19) de trabajo en renta de equipo y coordinación de eventos. Invitó a clientes con los que ha construido una relación a través de los años, incluyendo muy en especial a 'sus novias' que han confiado en él la coordinación de uno de los días más importantes de sus vidas.

So happy to share with you these small details of Grupo Tradiciones anniversary event. Architect Carlos Herrera is the owner and also the one who flawlessly took care of every detail at my wedding (almost 11 years ago). His party rental and event coordination company celebrated 18 years (today 19). He invited near and dear clients, including all the brides that have entrusted him with coordinating one of the most important days of their lives.

Como recuerdo de su compromiso en París, una pareja de novios regaló a todos sus invitados macarons en cajas transparentes cuadradas, decoradas con un moño dorado... súper lindo detalle.

Referencing their engagement in Paris, a wedding couple gave out macarons in clear boxes sealed with a gold bow to all their guests... such a sweet detail.

Boda...Mariana y Jorge

Moría de ganas de compartirles esta boda... hace unos meses fui a una de las bodas más originales y llena de detalles. Primeramente, han sido la pareja de novios más relajados que he visto en mucho tiempo, definitivamente marcaron el tono de su boda con esa sonrisa de oreja a oreja que tuvieron los dos de principio a fin. Los amé por eso... 
I was dying to share this wedding with you... a few months ago I went to one of the most original and full of details weddings. First of all, this has been the most relaxed wedding couple I have seen in a long time, they definitely set the tone for their wedding with those huge smiles they had from beginning to end. I loved them for that.
 

La boda fue en  la Ciudad de México. La iglesia y la casa de la recepción estaban a solo unas cuadras, así que tenían bici-taxis afuera de la iglesia listos para que todos los invitados y tambíen los novios nos fuéramos de ahí a la recepción... ¡GENIAL y súper divertido! 
The wedding was in Mexico City. The church and the reception venue were only a few blocks away from each other, so they had pedicabs ready for us and for them also, so we could ride to the reception in them... GENIUS and super fun!

Esas cajas de madera pintadas de plateado con arreglos florales adentro, me FASCINARON, estaban por toda la boda, a la entrada, en la mesa de novios, enfrente de la mesa del DJ, eran unas mini obras de arte... 

I LOVED those silver painted crates with floral arrangements inside, they were all over the place, at the entrance, at the table of honor, in front of the DJ console, they were like mini art installations...

 

El panorama de la recepción...esos foquitos iluminados de noche se veían soñadores...

A panoramic view of the wedding reception... those rows of hanging lights looked dreamy when they were lit up at night...

 ...y más detalles, mezcal en frascitos de vidrio de colores y mini conos rellenos de helado de sabores típicos mexicanos DELICIOSOS...

...and more details, mezcal was served in mini colored glass bottles, and they gave us DELICIOUS mini Mexican traditional-flavored ice cream cones...

 

Mariana y Jorge, gracias por esa boda tan increíblemente divertida. Es un gusto ver a una pareja tan original y sobretodo FELIZ. Les mando mis mejores deseos ahora que comienzan una nueva vida juntos. Con amor ♥

Boda en la Toscana...

Creo que se me fue un poquito el aire cuando vi estas fotografías... es un excelente trabajo realizdo por Vanessa Van Wieren de Alchemy en la Toscana, Italia. Mezclar elementos glamorosos como las sillas Louis Ghost con elementos orgánicos típicos de la Toscana como las mesas de madera y las canastas tejidas de mimbre rindió unos resultados ESPECTACULARES... pueden ver el resto de las fotos {aquí}.

I think I lost my breath for 2 seconds when I saw these pictures... excellent work performed by Vanessa Van Wieren of Alchemy in Tuscany, Italy. Mixing such glamorous elements like the Louis Ghost chairs with typical organic elements found in Tuscany like the wooden farm tables and woven baskets, gave some SPECTACULAR results... you can see the rest of the images {here}.

Con el estilo de El Gran Gatsby de los años 20, realizó una boda soñadora junto al guitarrista de The Kills Jamie Hince. Vean cada detalle, el vestido, los pajes, los centros de mesa y los invitados... disfruten...

I had already shared it with my Twitter followers, but I couldn't let the opportunity to post it here pass. Kate Moss' wedding, published in Vogue with images by Mario Testino, turned out to be all that we imagined it would and more... She pulled off a dreamy 1920's Great Gatsby style wedding alongside her love Jamie Hince, guitarist of the Kills. Look at every detail, the dress, the flower girls, the centerpieces and the guests... enjoy...

Lavanda y Encaje con toques de limón amarillo...

Recientemente me contactó una novia próxima a casarse para pedirme un mosaico de ideas para su boda. Me envió una fotografía de un arreglo floral que le había gustado y de ahí partí para formar éste mosaico. La boda tomaba lugar en un el verano, en un jardín y buscaba detalles DIY. 

A future bride contacted me recently asking for an inspiration board for her wedding. She sent me a picture of a floral arrangement that she liked and I took over from there. The wedding would take place in the summer, in a garden and she was looking for DIY details.  

Tema: Lavanda y encaje con toques de limón amarillo. Usar encaje beige y en tonos pasteles muy claros. Colgar, forrar, cubrir y envolver el encaje en lo más que se pueda (mesas, manteles, centros de mesa, velas, árboles, servilletas, etc.) Usar ramas de lavanda y limones amarillos como toques especiales en toda la decoración (mesa de postres, centro de mesa, recuerditos, ramos de novia, etc.). Incorporar fruta, flores y otros elementos de los mismos colores (amarillo y morado claro).

Theme: Lavender and lace with touches of lemon. Use very light colored lace (mostly beige and some very pale pastel colors). Hang, wrap, cover, tie the lace to as many things as possible (tables, table covers, centerpieces, candles, trees, napkins, etc.). Incorporate touches of lavender and lemons to the entire decoration (sweets table, check-in table, centerpieces, wedding favors, bridal bouquet, etc.). Incorporate fruit, flower and other elements using them within the same color scheme (yellow and light purple).

Esferas colgantes...

 Me encanta como las esferas enmarcan sus caras... El sábado pasado colgué 40 esferas de papael de una palmera enorme para una boda, terminé agotada pero feliz. Felicidades a los novios, les deseo una vida llena de bendiciones♥

I love how the paper lanterns frame their faces... Last Saturday I hung 40 paper lanterns from a huge palm tree for a wedding, I was exhausted but so happy with the result. Congratulations to the bride and groom, I wish you a lifetime of blessings♥
