¿Recuerdan éste post de invitaciones con globos? En realidad la idea es linda pero el helio dura poco tiempo en globos tan chiquitos. Ahora vi ésta invitación muy similar pero no necesitas llenar el globo de helio. Simplemente rellénalo de confetti y los detalles de tu invitación antes de inflar con aire. Al final del hilo con el que amarras el globo da la instrucción 'pop me'. Una explosión de celebración para animar a tus invitados anticipando el evento...

ENCANTADA con esta idea para invitaciones... Junto con la invitación, los anfitriones mandaron un pequeño sobre con una tarjeta en blanco y un poco de brillantina adentro; por afuera una vela envuelta con mecate... se ve DIVINA. El plan era que los invitados escribieran un buen deseo para la cumpleañera de un año y así acompañarla a soplar las velitas de su pastel, cada quien atando su deseo a su respectiva vela... ¡Grandiosa idea!

I am ENCHANTED with this idea for invitations... Along with the invitation, the hosts sent a small envelope with a blank note card and some glitter inside; on the outside was a candle tied with twine... it looks DIVINE. The idea was for guests to write their birthday wish for the one-year old birthday girl and accompany her as she blew out he candles on her cake by tying their wish to each of their candles... Great idea!

Desde hace tiempo tengo ganas de hacer una fiesta con tema de superhéroe...Estas ideas que encontré como: "Agua de Antídoto para Kriptonita" y "Super poder H2O" me encantaron. Si se animan, pueden ver {este} o {este} tutorial en Español sobre como hacer las capas de superhéroes. Las máscaras las pueden descargar {aquí} gracias a Ambrosia Girl y trazar sobre fieltro, hacer agujeros a la altura de los ojos y  a los lados para amarrar un elástico. Este tema tiene muchísimo potencial y puedes llegar hasta donde tu imaginación te lo permita...¡Pum!¡Zas! ¡Splach! 

I've been wanting to throw a superhero party for a while...I loved these ideas I found like: "Anti-Kryptonite Tonic" and "Power H2O". If you like, you can see a superhero cape tutorial {here}. You can download superhero masks {here} thanks to Ambrosia Girl. Just print and trace over felt. Cut out holes at eye level and punch two holes on the sides to run an elsatic band through. This party theme has major potential, you can go as far as your imagination will let you...Pow! Boom! Bam!

Invitación para una fiesta de cumpleaños... Material: un mini globo de 5 pulgadas o 2.5 cm, caja de cartón, hilo muy delgado, datos de la fiesta impresos en forma de acordión... verdaderamente ORIGINAL.

Birthday party invitation... Material used: a mini 5" balloon, cardboard box, very thin thread, party details printed accordian style... truly ORIGINAL.

***El helio en el globo solo dura un par de horas, entonces deberán asegurarse de entregar las invitaciones en cuanto inflen los globos para que no se pierda el efecto sorpresa de ver al globo elevarse. 

***The helium only lasts a couple of hours in balloons this small.  It's important that you deliver the invitations right after you finish packaging them so they wont lose the element of surprise once opened.

Temas... Fiesta Mexicana {despedida de solteros}

Recientemente estuve comentando con una amiga ideas para realizar una fiesta de despedida de solteros mixta {novio y novia} con tema Mexicano... Aquí les muestro algo de inspiración...
Recently I was talking with a friend about ideas for a Mexican themed co-ed wedding shower. So here's a little inspiration...

En la imágen de arriba pueden ver ideas de decoración... 
In the image above you can see all the decorating ideas... 
 

Mesa: Usa manteles blancos y cubre mantel de yute. Forma los centros de mesa con latas y botellas vacías de productos Mexicanos y flores coloridas sencillas. También puedes usar mini-macetas de barro con cactus adentro.
Table: Use white tablecloths and burlap tablerunners. For the centerpiece, use empty cans and bottles of mexican products and fill with simple colorful flowers. You can also use mini-flower pots with a cactus inside. 
 
Decoración: Decora con papel picado {instrucciones aquí} y flores de papel mexicanas. Si no las encuentras, haz los pompones {aquí} con colores vivos, incluso mezclando dos colores del mismo tono y en vez de alambre floral usa limpiapias verdes como {estos}.
Decorations: Decorate with "papel picado" or perforated paper {instructions here} and mexican paper flowers. If you can't find the flowers make {these pom poms} using vivid colors and even mixing two different colors in the same tone; also instead of floral wire use green pipe cleaners like {these}.
 

Comida y Bebida: Para la comida haz una taquiza y de postre ofrece churros con chocolate caliente  y paletas de hielo de frutas naturales. Ten a la mano refrescos de sabores mexicanos, cervezas mexicanas, tequila y por supuesto agua fresca {recetas aquí}. 
Food and Drinks: For your main course have a "taquiza" and for dessert you can have churros and mexican hot chocolate. Fruit popsicles are also a mexican favorite. Also have different flavors of mexican soft drinks, mexican beer, tequila and of course "agua fresca" {recipes here}. 
 

Diversión: Labios y bigotes... haz paletas de bigotes de chocolate con moldes como {estos}, o bigotes y labios de papel pegados a un popote o varita de madera {descarga el archivo aquí}. También puedes hacer {este} proyecto de paletas de labios y bigotes... y no olvides los sombreros mexicanos. Por ahí encontré {este} sello de bigote que me encantó, puedes sellar las servilletas, manteles, invitaciones o lo que sea con esto.  
For fun: Lips and mustaches... make chocolate mustache pops in molds like {these}, or lips and mustaches on a stick {download the file here}. You can also make {this} lip and mustache project... and don't forget the mexican sombreros. I found {this} mustache stamp and loved it, you can stamp napkins, tablecloths, invitations, just about anything with this.
